Free financial advice made available to Danish exporters
As part of the Danish government's new export and growth strategy, the Danish Trade Council in a joint effort with national Danish export credit agency, Eksport Kredit Fonden (EKF) has made a new free service available to Danish companies interested in operating in the Turkish market. To ensure Danish competitiveness in the region the Danish Trade Council has contracted a Financial Advisor, who will provide free-of-charge advice on the various financial options available to Danish companies, exporters and their local partners. Most of the financial advice is offered as a free of charge service.

Focus on Danish, national, regional & international financial schemes
The advice will encompass both Danish schemes such as the national Danish export credit agency – EKF who provide many types of financing opportunities such as Working Capital, Investment Loans, Credit Guarantees, Shopping Lines, and Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Guarantees. Advice will also be given regarding other Danish schemes such as Danida, Vækstfonden, Danish Climate Investment Fund (KIF), IFU and IFU Climate Fond (ICF) as well as the schemes available from private banks and private credit insurance institutions. Further advice for local, regional and international schemes will also be covered by the Financial Advisor. Some of the schemes worth mentioning are the Turkish Development Bank, EBRD and World Bank, etc.

Advice available to all Danish Companies
All companies and exporters with an economic footprint in Denmark can acquire the free advice; however there is a special focus on making SME’s aware of the finance opportunities as they are less inclined to have the time and resources to allocate to this area. The lack of financing is often a deal breaker so being able to raise working capital or guarantee customers’ long credit lines can provide Danish exporters with some added arguments and incentives when negotiating with buyers.
