Internship at the Trade Council

Internship period: 1 February - 31 July 2019

The Trade Council of Denmark in Istanbul, Turkey is offering an internship from February 2019 for 6 months for a master level student.
Please note that the internship is a continuous program where the Consulate recruits 2 interns every six months for the period of February to July and August to January. This recruitment is for 2 interns for the period running from 1st of February 2019 to 31st of July 2019.

Internship Description
As a small consultancy team, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated intern who value team spirit and are open to cooperation. The Trade Council of Denmark in Istanbul advises and assists Danish companies in matters of export and business development, and facilitates their market entrance to Turkey as well as investment promotion towards Denmark.
The internship potentially offers experience in:

- consultancy on international trade and business development
- market research
- partner identification
- organizing international meetings and export promotion events in Turkey and in Denmark
- social media and webpage content management
- planning and participation in companies and/or official delegation visits

The ideal candidate should be fluent in Danish, English and, preferably, Turkish, and willing to improve his/her skills in research, communications and business strategies. The internship is unpaid, a monthly subsidy of 4.000 DKK will be granted as a contribution to living expenses. However, it should be noted that this amount will not be sufficient to cover all living expenses in Istanbul.
